Plymouth Drake Foundation awarded £100 to Horizons Children Sailing Charity to help train their volunteers.
This training means that:
1. 6 Volunteers are trained in Safety Boat Training
Horizons Children Sailing Charity is helps disadvantaged and disabled children from the inner city communities in Plymouth and the surrounding areas. They provide learning and educational opportunities that increase self-confidence and improve social and practical skills, through the experience of water based activities that would normally be beyond their means.
