Plymouth Drake Foundation awarded Pride in Plymouth a grant of £100 to train 10 - 15 volunteers in event and parade stewarding in preparation for the Pride of Plymouth parade 2014.
The outcome of the training was:
1. 14 Volunteers become trained and able to mentor other volunteers to come.
2. The best pride parade yet, and the event passed without a single incident.
3. The volunteers learned to work in a team and deservedly received lots of positive feedback.
